Since 1931, Guild Hall has served as the premier cultural hub in East Hampton.

Guild Hall presents more than 200 programs and hosts 60,000 visitors each year. The Museum holds six to eight exhibitions, ranging from the historical to the contemporary, and focuses on artists who have an affiliation with the Hamptons. The Theater produces more than 100 programs―including plays, concerts, dance, screenings, simulcasts, and literary readings―from the classics to new works. In addition to these endeavors, Guild Hall supports the next generation of artists with in-school and on-site Learning + New Works programs.Guild Hall is home to the Hilarie and Mitchell Morgan Theater, a 299-seat, 1931 jewel-box proscenium stage celebrating nearly a century of performing arts. Legendary playwrights such as Tennessee Williams and Eugene O’Neill credited Guild Hall with helping to establish their reputations, while others like Edward Albee and Terrence McNally had a lifelong relationship with the theater, where he was an active member of the Guild Hall Academy of the Arts. The theater has evolved into a vital year-round institution with more than 100 presentations annually, including dance, opera, concerts, film, theatrical readings, comedy, dance, lectures, and symposia.THE OFFICE served as an interim programming consultant, developing a season of performances while Guild Hall built out a full time artistic staff. Highlights from our programming included an Evening with Billy Porter, Arturo O'Farrill and the Latin Jazz Ensemble, Robert Glasper in Concert, and Taylor Mac's Born to Run.
